Inverness in spring sunshine

This was yesterday, I haven't been anywhere today. The building on the other side of the steeple is the one where the shop has the ghost signs. I've done a wee bit of research, and it seems that the houses I featured yesterday are due for demolition and replaced with modern flats. There is some talk of restoring the stepped 'gateway,' but it is vague. It would be ironic if they do build a new set of steps as in the old days it led to the site of public hangings.
