Brew With A View

MrsB and I walked a section of the Leeds/Liverpool Canal from Crooke Village to Gathurst Locks this morning, and knowing that there were no pit stops en route, I carried a small rucksack complete with coffee flask so that we could refresh ourselves at the turning point.
These are the stone steps to a long-gone bridge over the upper lock at Gathurst, also now unused, but providing a good view down the canal towards Appley Bridge a mile or so further on.
