A bit colder and more damp this morning, although it did brighten in the afternoon.  The weather was not bothering this trio though.

Watched the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral last evening when we came home.  The Queen made a very sad figure, such an old lady now, it would be a hard heart who could not feel sympathy for her after such a long marriage.

The whole funeral was done so well, with great dignity.  The music was wonderful and The singing of 'For those in peril on the sea' was very moving, as was the lone piper playing 'The flowers of the Forest'.  

We will not see his like again.......
