Today's image was taken on James Whatman Way in Maidstone and is the outside of the Gallagher Stadium - the ground of my hometown football club Maidstone United.
It was completed in 2012 with a capacity for 4200 fans and is the first English stadium to be built with a third generation artificial turf.
We are currently in the National League South and the title refers to the fact that due to the pandemic, and the covid restrictions that applied at the time with it's financial ramifications, the whole season was declared null and void on the 18th February this year. There have actually been no fans inside the stadium since last year.
