It's beginning to look a lot like....

Christmas / Birthday / Easter / Anniversary...we celebrated them all!  :D 

Oh my goodness how I have looked forward to this day!  And it didn't disappoint!  Seven and a half months since we've seen this lot and still not allowed to hug!  But that didn't really matter, just being together in REAL LIFE and not online was wonderful.

The BBQ was ready, the food was ready, the fire pit was ready, the Christmas tree, Christmas music, Christmas pressies, birthday pressies, anniversary pressies and Easter eggs were all ready.  And the fun began!  :-))

Esme was a bit dazed when she arrived as she'd fallen asleep in the car and just woken up.  She soon livened up when she saw Lola!  We were so lucky with the weather.  Sunny and no wind so it felt quite warm during the day.  

The BBQ was a great success.  The garden games were a great success, the fire pit and blankets worker perfectly to keep us cosy and we all just enjoyed the experience of being together.  

As the evening wore on, none of us wanted to break up the gathering so pizzas were ordered and a couple more logs thrown on the fire pit.  The Gin Palace also has a heater.  

When everyone finally made a move to go it was almost 11pm and Esme was out for the count.  She went home wrapped in my wonky lollipop and lettuce blanket that she'd taken a shine too.  I wonder if I'll ever see it again!  lol

Once they had gone, we sat in the quiet and shook our heads in astonishment at how long it had been since we'd all been together. If the same time passed again it would be November before we saw them again. 

That is unthinkable!
