Someone has hung a bird feeder in the bush with a plea for passers by to replenish the supply of food...handily a cup is supplied. My friend and I had earlier remarked on the rather astonishing absence of birds. Perhaps the feeder installer is hoping to attract more birds. Repeated episodes of frost and snow have probably interfered with the insect supply but I do wonder where the birds are.
