‘Total Absorption‘

With the relaxing of the covid travel restrictions in Scotland last week, we saw my daughter and two grandchildren today for the first time in well over six months. It was absolutely wonderful to be together again!

Most of the time was spent walking and talking together, and part of our walk included the stretch along the Water of Leith between Dean Village and Stockbridge that runs by St Bernard’s Well.

However my grandson’s total absorption was able to get the better of him...
