School Trip

Hi everyone!

Today was the book club trip to Dundee for the book awards! The bus journey was just over an hour, and we got lost when we got to the city. When we finally got in, our group of 10 had a whole 'section' to ourselves. A magician came over to us and did some card tricks, which was amazing! Magics always impressive when you're part of it!

The actual 'show' was ok, but it was obviously geared towards the younger children. There was some acting, speeches, singing. Very little of the awards ceremony was actually about awards. Still, I got to miss a day of school, and I ate so much food on the bus! All in all, it was a fun day! Although it took us about 2 and a bit hours to get home - we got caught in rush-hour traffic, which was hellish!
