Beautiful Day

Took a walk around the local nature reserve this afternoon for a couple of hours. The weather was glorious and the wild life was out in force, mice, rats, swallows, swans, goldfinches, blue tits to name but a few. But chose this shot as it epitomises the beautiful serene afternoon, with the birds sweeping and swooping over the sparkly water...lovely.

Ps thank you all for the hearts and stars for yesterdays Starling, which made favourites page, it has been several years I think since I made the favourites :)
