By Lake Hayes

Today the walking group drove over the Crown Range to Lake Hayes.  It is an 8 k walk, or 13,000 steps.  The colours were very pretty, but only when the sun came out.  The extras missed the cut.  (1)  Hay bales  (2)  Stone House  (3)  Wetlands.  (4)  This morning's sunrise.  We had a nice cuppa at a local cafe before heading for home.

The Poplars are looking great along the Cardrona Valley, must take a trip up there in the next day or two.
