Free Figs

We have had a social day today.  First call was at Pete's who was our neighbour until a year ago.  It is his 90th birthday on Wednesday so we called into the retirement village or lifestyle village for independent retirement living as it says on the sign.  We wanted to wish him happy birthday.  The it was off to Allan and Leslie where we were given a ripe avocado and invited to pick pears and apples whenever we like.  A drive by across the road to the brother in laws to check everything is okay.  They are away in their camper van.  We helped ourself to some figs and feijoas.  The birds had already found some of the figs.
