Bookshopping
It's World Book Day!
Browsing a good bookshop is one of life's chief delights for me. This one, House of Our Own in West Philadelphia, must rank as one of my favourites. It's crammed to the gills on two floors where tiny rooms and nooks, shelved to the ceilings, lead maze-like one to another via narrow passages and cul-de-sacs piled high more books. The stock is admirably comprehensive with interesting categories like 'Quakers' and 'Pirates' helpfully labelled.
This is Debbie who runs this particular book heaven haven with her partner. It's always nice to greet her again, spend an hour or so browsing and leave with a few more volumes to squeeze into my baggage.
The only thing the place lacks is a book worm cat.
