A penny saved...

..or not.

I've been cutting Darrens hair for years, partly to save money and partly because he's a lazy sod and usually can't be bothered to get to the barbers.

Except it doesn't save money, it's just money we don't spend. I suggested he pay me the fiver it would cost at the barbers and I save it up for a special treat for us but the idea of paying me didn't go down well, even when I dropped my prices to a pound!

May have to go on strike...I think Darren would quite like to grow a big, ginger afro...then again, maybe I'll keep on cutting it and just raid his wallet when he's not looking!
