Its Friday

Yes, its Friday afternoon, and an absolutely stunning one too. So I spoke to my boss (that's me) and we decided to knock off work early and head for the hills above Sumner. By the look of the number of people along the Esplanade and Sumner beach I wasn't the only one.
But it was not long before I was up in the dry tussocks, away from the madding crowd and shot a few frames to put together in this panorama. From Scarborough on the right through to the sweep of New Brighton beach on the left (very English names you'll notice).
The forecast for tomorrow is not so good, so I can make up for lost time then.
