Spying....

I met up with a couple of old uni friends at Middleton Hall today. We hadn't seen each other for months due to various incarnations of lockdowns. So it was great to catch up.

We also had a wander around the RSPB reserve next to the hall - Middleton Lakes. That was somewhere I would be keen to revisit. I heard booming bitterns for the first time.
