Today's the day ............................ for a happy return

It's my birthday today - the second one under Covid restrictions - but it has been very happy so far!

I haven't done anything in particular but just what took the fancy, without any feelings of guilt whatsoever.  It's so nice to have a day when friends and family are thinking about you - and have sent you cards and thoughtful presents.  The card above was beautifully crafted by Tessa, all by herself, which makes it very special.

But now I must head off - because I have a table booked at the Summerhouse Bistro  in the garden.  Will's doing the cooking - and I'm hoping there's a glass of chilled white already a-waiting ........................
