What a bostin*  day. 
Dry , blue skies and warm! Well warmish, but not too hot for walking.  We walked up Beda  Fell on just about a perfect day. . After a picnic at the top we walked back the way we'd come with wonderful views over Ullswater ( extra) .
Martindale is the village where we parked  The old stone buildings are very picturesque.
* Bostin  = Brummie for rather good.
