Roe Deer Buck...

relaxing in the meadow this evening.
I feel that my deer stalking is improving!

No sign of yesterday's fox which I have named 'Marmite'.
The local community around here seem to hate them, because of their habit of getting into chicken coops with dire consequences , but I love to see them.
They really are a very elusive creature in the countryside, in complete contrast to their urban cousins.
Anyway, many thanks for the stars, hearts and comments Marmite attracted yesterday.

I keep forgetting to mention that I’ve seen a few swallows. The first ones appeared a couple of weeks ago and then today I’ve seen a few more swooping across the fields
