Operated on!

Finally the kid had her operation. Ironically it was the same one that I had last summer - the repair of our right knee's meniscus. It was also with the same surgeon, who was also the same surgeon operated on Steve's about 20 year ago. I did have a laugh when I read the surgeon's notes from her first appointment when he said, "the patient said it happened when she jumped off a wall in Berlin - she has reassured me it was not the Berlin Wall!

I would have to say someone having the operation who is thirty years younger than I am was evident in her bounce back after the general this evening - it was like hadn't even happened!
