Evening Swim

The weather today was glorious and with high tide at 8:30 tonight, a trip to the Forth was in order.

With no wind and a slack tide it was perfect conditions to get some more training in for a wee attempt at the 5K swim.

Once I got into the rhythm, it became easy and once when I reached the lifeboat slip way, the sun was low in the horizon and glinting over the water... An amazing sight!

After the swim was finished, I headed back to the slip way to enjoy a coffee... and watch the local lifeboat crew tidy away after another "shout" to Cramond Island, picking up some more folk cut off with the rising tide!!
