Kayaking at Crummock

Emma and Sam were camping in Ennerdale overnight, so once they left the campsite, wee met them at Crummock water. Sam & Deb went for a trail run, Emma & I blew up their new Kayak and had a couple of hours paddling round Crummock water. Paddling north up the lake was easy, the return was much harder. Water flows into Crummock from the south end and out the north end - it really made a difference.

Had a picnic at the side of the lake (as the queue to get into the Kirkstile in was horrendous!)

So good to see them both (and Walter, who came in the Kayak with Emma & me)

Today would have been my Dad's 103rd Birthday - still think about him every day.

Watched the funeral of Prince Philip, such a great man.
