East meets West

The European vs. Asian side of Istanbul is akin to Brooklyn vs. Manhattan in New York... Don't know why it always feels so far away - maybe the idea of crossing a body of water makes it feel like it's longer than it is? I guess sometimes the distance between two things seems greater than it really is.. Sorry, Danes, for not coming to Brooklyn more!

Well tonight it was a pleasure to cross, beautiful weather for a ferry ride along the Bosphorus and great company. Thanks to Anne for an inspiring evening and celebration of women's day and the question she invited of, "How have you changed since your early 20s" - to which the responses shared have left me thinking (and eager to get to my 40s, 50s, 60s!)...
