Ornament

When I was about eight, I bought this as a gift for Lego-Nan (click on this link for blip with more info). As a kid I didn't see how tacky or cheap it looked. But she kept it displayed on her bookshelves until she passed away in 2003. Then it came home with me. 2013 being the 10th anniversary of her death, tomorrow I'm going down to visit her grave to place flowers and this ornament. Her grave being in Keswick, Cumbria makes it a bit of a journey but it's do-able in a day by public transport. In case you're wondering why an unemployed person is spending money like this, I booked the tickets whilst I still had a job.
