A ferry

Seen from the pathway to Tobermory light house. It’s a while since travelling on one, perhaps sometime soon. This smaller ferry travels between Tobermory and Kilahoan on Ardnamurchan.

I had a hair appointment this morning as did our neighbour P, she has hurt her ankle and it made sense for me to take her as well. I had plenty of time after my hair cut and walked out along the lighthouse path, a damp, grey morning, quite a different day to the walk John and I did last week in the sunshine. Although, by the time I was back on Main Street the sky was blue and the rain had gone. I had a coffee chat with a couple people, most enjoyable. P had just come out from her appointment and we decided to look into the Glass Barn to check out the lunch menu, it’s about a mile from Tobermory ‘centre’. it was very good, busy enough with that wonderful hum of voices around us. Heaven.

Extra: gorse with a view, masses wild garlic and John looking pleased, along with N they have gave the little grey tractor a service, sort of. It used to be a grass cutter until the bigger machine arrived, they removed the cutters and now use it to tow and haul.
