Good day for the birds

Two weeks ago I blipped with a male Lapland Bunting. Today it is the female's chance. Altogether a much more subtle bird. Attractive none the less.
A good day for the birds with a flock of 14 Whimbrel at Balranald along with four Lapland Buntings and then a group of 38 very colourful Black-tailed Godwits on Baleshare, including one with a set of colour rings. Within two minutes of sending an e-mail, I got the reply that it had been ringed as an adult in Icleand and I am now waiting for more details.
I even caught and ringed a female Starling in the garden.
