Explorer's Backpack!

To kick start our history topic of significant people we're going to look at explorers. Today's job was to warm up to the idea of explorers by considering where we'd like to explore and what items we'd pack for the adventure.

I just had to blip these two pieces of work. Both children decided they'd go to the moon or space. The little boy, top piece of work, explains he'll pack a shovel to dig for the cheese on the moon. Not only that, he'll take bread so he can make a cheese sandwich too!

The little girl has a different take on space, thinking about the issue of gravity. No problem though, she's packing sellotape which would be the perfect solution.

Absolutely brilliant!!

Much fuller and duller skies this afternoon, after a morning of sunshine. It seems dark on my walk and it even looks like it could rain!!
