L' Aurore
About a dozen Orange Tip (L' Aurore in France, which seems to excel in evocative butterfly names) seen flying through the garden this afternoon, all males, occasionally one would stop to refuel on the aubretia. Other species seen today were Brimstone, Peacock, Red Admiral, Green-veined White, Small White and a Large White. The latter was the first I'd seen this year and brings my species list to ten.
