Great tit

F and I went for a walk along the canal this afternoon.  There were a lot of birds singing but not so many showing.  This great tit was one of a pair showing well in the trees.

We heard a male Great Spotted Woodpecker drumming close by but couldn't see him.  We then saw a female across the canal who flew off towards the male.  A singing willow warbler was in a tree but too far away to get a decent shot.
