Unhinged

One of the mirrored doors on our bathroom cabinet began to stop closing properly the other week. Then a small pin fell out from the lower hinge.

With our son’s help I dismantled the door and studied the hinge closely. I could see where the pin should go back in but when another small metal fragment fell out I decided the effort to repair it would be futile.

At least the hinge still functions and with a minor adjustment aligns a bit better.

Let’s hope the door is still in place in the morning.
