Next Stop, Penicillin

After a night of shooting pains, I went to change my dressing and couldn't help but notice the size of my knuckle and the redness where the anaesthetic had gone in. Suddenly my raised temperature was explained!

I now have a course of penicillin to take four times a day on an empty stomach... not easily achieved when I'm home munching chocolate all day long.
