Green veined White

Saw a couple of butterflies on our lovely walk today. This one posed beautifully.....it was amazingly well camouflaged against this Scurvy Grass which has a beautiful delicate floral scent. We met a bird enthusiast who was out in her lunch break trying to find the Avocets which had been spotted on our coastline. She only had binoculars but we saw her a few minutes later talking to someone with a spotting scope. They had found the birds but they were the other side of the bay so even with the scope quite a challenge to see apparently. Lovely to see our invertebrates appearing again :)
