Vindicated

I bet the person who said that this tree needed cutting down was relieved when they saw the state of it inside.

We all hate seeing trees felled for no reason, but the set of trees that have been removed in Tamworth Castle Grounds look like they needed it. I hope they are replaced with something suitable.

The mirk has not lifted all day. So dull and cold. You can just about make out the River Tame and Ladybridge in the background.

We had a look at the flood defence work by the Fox pub. It is some very substantial work, costing an awful lot of money. Hope it works.
