More Baby Chicks

Tractor Supply store got a new batch of baby chicks in. I discovered how to photograph them in their dark enclosed cages by sneaking open the sliding back door and sticking the camera inside. This, of course, freaks out the chickies a bit. They rush to the other side of the cage. But I can get a better view of them. These are all Buff Orpingtons waiting for new homes. They produce nice big brown eggs.
I blipped baby Buff Orps. March 6th, but through their splashed water dish. Of course, these are the new B.Ofs. Tractor Suppy keeps chicks for sale all spring and summer. People are raising their own cicks and ducks here more than ever.
