Lunchtime entertaining

I had promised Mum that I would bring her up to our house for lunch today. Much to our delight, my daughter asked if she could visit her Gran as local lockdowns had eased and the weather was looking promising. So I ended up catering for an impromptu party of 6 in the garden.

I wo wondered what I could make from cupboard ingredients to feed the extra mouths, and settled on a quiche, something I rarely make. It turned out well, though I did have to send someone out for some extra ingredients as I realised I didn't have all that I needed after all so I could have just bought one.
