Potter's Tarn

I met up with friends today for breakfast out and a lovely walk. We have zoomed a bit over lockdown but it did wane as we began to repeat the same covid stories so in true friendship we put it on hold and instead picked up again when we left off which worked absolutely perfectly.

The walk was wonderful, out of Staveley, up high into the fells and back down to Potter's Tarn for a refreshing (very) swim. Endless conversations and the laughs, the laughs. Then all back home for 1.30pm.

The lawn has been mown, the garden furniture is out (although I am still searching for the hammock!) and the once the evening came the pizza oven was lit (and used much more successfully that the first time) as was the fire. We thought about getting friends over but maybe there is a bit of covid apathy, so we decided to lay low and see out the setting sun on our own. A perfect day.
