DAY 6...BRITISH WEATHER

Our weather just cannot make it’s mind up!!

We woke to fog so had a slow start with some reading and puzzling and brunch. Despite the weather not being as good we still decided to head to the coast for a few hours.
#we arrived in cloud and chilly wind. After a walk from St Leonard’s to Hastings. I found
#a sheltered spot on the pier to read. It was glorious. We walked back to St Leonard’s and the drive to Fairlight Cove a sort of cliff top village....then into# Petts Level beach (never heard of it before) the sun was shining so we enjoyed a picnic sheltered from the wind. Daisy went bonkers and rolled in the sand and dug and rolled some more. She loved the freedom of running alongside the Rev on one of his photography sessions.
#we then drove onto Camber Sands for hot drinks and chips and another beach walk. Again Daisy went bonkers...running around like a crazy thing!!
#the sunsetting on a better weather day than planned and 7 hours at the coast !!!
