Daffodils at da Post Box
A windy start to the day, but flat calm this evening. Mostly sunny all day, a cloudy evening and a quick shower.
I've been working in the museum again today, and mostly helping pack the orders for Wool Week, ready for shipping. We had the Shetland film crew in again, looking at lighting today, and also had Ability Shetland in too. Been to the peat hill again this evening, a bit of tidying, and then mam came over for a walk. Feet up, telly on now.
A fine cheery day, but still cold in the wind. The frost and snow at the beginning of the month did hit hard on some early flowers, but thankfully some of the hardiest breeds have not only survived, have bounced back, and fairly cheered up the landscape. Daffodils are always a welcome sight, just a shame they didn't last longer into the summer. Taken at the foot of St Clair Road, Cunningsburgh.
