Minimalist Crocks

Lunch with friends today to celebrate a BIG birthday sitting outside in their garden.  It was a bit cool though especially after yesterday's sun.  We had a delicious 'light' lunch, so light that I haven't needed any other food this evening!  I found some time to play around with my gorgeous Lensbaby Velvet 56 lens combining this with a minimalist subject ready for the Challenge Group on Friday evening. The blip is something from the kitchen (what is it?) and a tulip head as extra.  I do love this lens and the various effects it can give.

We have had an excellent camera club committee meeting covering a lot of different points including the Summer Programme, the return to F2F meetings and a possible adaptation to the club competitions scoring system; we are triallling a 'no score' version for a few of our events next season - also plans for our own print exhibition in 2022
