Camping at Hartley

We had visitors at our camp today. Isbi’s daughter Helen and Omar with Ella and Ayman ( 5 months ). We found some frozen sausages and bread which we barbecued and they contributed left over salad. We all had a yummy impromptu lunch. It was so good to see them.

Earlier we went for a drive to Kanimbla Valley via some back roads. Wow, there were some hills and it’s a wonder our car got up some of them. Lucky we didn’t have the caravan on behind as I would have definitely have had a nervous breakdown. Bob wasn’t enjoying it much either so after a while turned around and went for more sedate roads. Carol and Graham had to return to Sydney for a funeral so they got back mid afternoon. 

Saw some cows and calves and a Fox. Otherwise just a few water birds and more of the peace and quiet.

Our son messaged to say our cat has disappeared. Toby hasn’t been away from home before and hasn’t been seen for about 36 hours. Not much we can do about that after the cat has bolted....we can only hope he returns on his own free will.
