Phantom photos

Can anybody help with this, please?

I have not used my camera for a while. I charged up the battery and it said there were 5 photos on the card.

When I put the card in the computer it said there were only 3 photos.

Scrolling through the pics on the camera there were indeed 5 images. The first two were like the one I have blipped.

I used my phone to photograph the display of one of the phantom photos on the back of my camera. That is what I have Blipped.

I can make no sense of it. I have flipped it 180 degrees because that looks better, but not a lot.

Can any of you explain? Has this happened to you?
