New hair

After 4 months I ventured to the hairdressers today and had my hair cut (and straightened. It’s the first time in years I have been my natural colour (I’ve been all sorts of colours over the years).

She did add some colour to cover my greys but I think I will not colour it any more. Someone told me they call their greys sparkles or tinsel and I like that idea.

It was lovely to have some conversation with others at the hairdressers, so rare these opportunities have been in recent months.

Tomorrow I have a silly early 4.15am start to get my son to swimming - the first time since lockdown. Followed by a long day of work! I’m planning an early night tonight!
