Fossil Hunters

The children have had fun this week learning all about fossils and we now know all about Mary Anning ( well, maybe not everything).
I found out from my friend Dr Liz that you can actually find a lot of fossils in flint gravel (find out more here and we spent a lovely time outside this afternoon in the sunshine, raking  through the gravel in our outdoor area. I’m not sure whether our tray of fossil treasure actually contains any fossils, but we had fun looking. See extra.
