An abundance of peacocks

I had to keep dodging the peacock butterflies as I walked around the garden today, there were so many of them enjoying flitting from dandelion to dandelion. I don't think they were newly emerged ones but rather ones which had over wintered. They didn't have the fresh bright colours of a "new" butterfly and seemed a little moth eaten around the edges, but they were still beautiful.
