Harmony Hill

Absolutely stunning day - such a blue sky. It was exactly the same a year ago and I recreated a photo of my garden. The leaves and blossom are noticeably less out this year than last, maybe to do with the cold weather we had in February and the frosts that we are still having.

Sienna started back at dance this evening and so I walked around the village of Milnthorpe in the evening sun which was glorious. Finally was able to read this plaque that I had noted but not had a chance to stop to read. I knew that many significant homes in this area were financed through slavery ties but I wasn't aware one was so close. I also know that there this is some work going on to bring this history more to light for the many visitors to this area...
