3 @Migros

Highlight of the day was when the three of us went to Migros (supermarket) and probably bought enough supplies for three weeks to cater for the  three day extended lockdown weekend that starts at 19.00 through till Monday 05.00. Beer, coffee, cheese, dog and cat food + a few other things and we're all set. Lockdown is the government's way of dealing with all public holidays in these Covid days, as well as nightly curfew of 19.00 throughout the month of Ramadan, in order to prevent crowds and family gatherings, and tomorrow, is National Sovereignty and Children's Day. At least we have the garden and are in a low risk area, with more four legged neighbours than two (see yesterday)!

A long afternoon stint of online tutoring, with a couple of 'time out' opportunities to join Graham, Kat and Esra briefly in the garden for some vitamin D. This evening was largely occupied with catch up video call with Caitlin in Istanbul. Thank heavens for sanity saving internet.
