kew

Today the car had to go in for its annual service and as Kew gardens was nearby I thought I would pop in there for a couple of hours. With this in mind I was so disappointed to see it was raining this morning. O well , I went any way.
Car duly dropped in the garage and have bus pass will travel.
Despite the rain kew was busy, I guess it was the lovely orchid display that did it. I took so many shots it was hard to decide which to blip. In the end I decided on this Lotus flower which I discovered is not related to the water lily.
