Can you see me now?

While I was over in Salford, having my dressings changed, my Mum was having a day out in Blackpool.

She messaged me to say if I looked on the live cam, she would wave. Thus ensued 10 minutes of ‘can you see me now’ messages. At one point she rang to ask if I could see her; I replied ‘no, because I’m on the phone to you!’

I couldn’t make her understand that although she might be wearing a green coat with a red bag, I couldn’t zoom in enough on my phone to distinguish her from everyone else. I did eventually see her waving. She’s the little figure heading towards the top right corner of the ‘Comedy carpet’ (between the bins!).

This episode of ‘Where’s Wally Mum’ killed a bit of time while I was waiting for my lift home.

Salford were happy that everything looks healthy and the wounds are healing well. I’m due to have my review with the consultant in 2 weeks time, but he’s no appointments until well into June!!!!!!

So, I’m booked in with the frame nurse in 2 weeks instead and she will get him to pop in and see me, that way I’m not delayed any further than I have been already. ;-)
