It's a good year
We needed to make a visit to the tip, so we also took advantage of the prolonged dry spell hardening all the mud and explored some more of the unofficial paths around Arrow Valley lake. As usual we had these mostly to ourselves, and in one area there were more Cowslips than I have ever seen.
There were two places where many trees had been felled, presumably from Ash Die Back, although our council does have a reputation for chopping down trees.
