Secret Place
Not exactly a secret but it is well hidden by a selection of shrubs and trees at the end of the garden and people forget it is there - so they shout 'Sue, Sue or Mum, Mum and fail to remember the stone seat. Even in the pouring rain you are sheltered by the overhanging Yew. If you want to be really secretive then you can easily climb up into the Yew, startle a few pigeons and nobody would ever find you. It's hollow in there - like a small room. When my daughter was younger she had a hideout there.
Looking round the garden there is a lot to be done. The Magnolia tree (in front of the stone bench) is in bud and has the most gigantic showy flowers. Primroses are out and plenty of snowdrops - they seem a little late this year. Lots of clearing up to be done. Anyhow it's freezing back to the warm fire enough of the outdoors.
