Great Dixter.
It's very nice to be back. Winter lockdown months in Bexhill have seen me totally lacking in inspiration. Added to which I've had a little health scare, but a series of tests: chest x-ray, ecg, blood test, angiogram, blood pressure diary have finally shown all is OK, just the asthma doing it's winter stuff, but a little more so this year due to the seemingly endless biting wind.
Well, the bike's out again as well as the golf clubs, so all is in order. I'm thinking about joining a new, much more reasonably priced club. Not too bothered about going on holiday, I'd just like to go visit the fam oop North and see my mum after more than a year.
Pictured is Great Dixter Garden, Northiam, near Rye. It's one of Gill's favourite places, particularly on a pleasant sunny day - sheltered from said wind.
Anyway, sorry for the extended absence, hopefully normal service resumed. :-)
